LANGLEY MILL GREYHOUND STADIUM

The small Derbyshire town of Langley Mill in the Amber Valley, and on the border of Nottinghamshire, first witnessed racing on 19th April 1930 on their Victory track situated at 1° 19' W 53° 1' N. Racing was run independently with sprints over 330 yards and standard races over 500 yards, but the track closed just one year later in 1931.
